"March for the Animals" to benefit the SPCA of Tompkins County.

On what will surely be a beautiful fall day, we’ll gather at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the Stewart Park Pavillion, in Ithaca, New York, for a fun and relaxed March with our friends, family, and four-legged companions!

March for Animals is the SPCA of Tompkins County annual fundraiser to support its mission to end cruelty and provide shelter to animals in need.  Founded in Ithaca in 1902, the non-profit helps some 1,600 animals annually.

This years walk celebrates the SPCA of Tompkins County 25 Years of an Open-Admission, No-Kill Sheltering.

That's 25 years of opening our doors.

25 years of second chances.

25 years of saving lives.

25 years of finding families.

And 25 years of a community coming together for animals in need.

The Barksville Inn is proud to be joining the March on October 11th. In addition, we will be donating 25% of all daycare and boarding reservations within the month of September to the March for Animals.
